WNL
We invite you and your family to attend and enjoy this time
of fellowship, food, lessons and activities as we seek to “build a
community of
people who love Jesus passionately and serve others joyfully”. This is
when
most of our mid-week youth ministries occur, with something for
everyone. The
evening begins with a low-cost, delicious meal for the whole family.
Individual
programs follow for Pioneer Club (4 year olds through 2nd grade), GEMS
(girls)
and Cadets (boys) for 3rd graders through 6th graders, as well as The
Rock (7th-8th graders). These programs meet on Wednesday nights from
6:15-8:00. Occasionally
the night ends with a time of music and celebration, during which we
will
celebrate awards, badges, and other accomplishments in a ceremony where
family
is invited.

Adult opportunities are also available on Wednesday nights. Typically several options are available. Please check the
website frequently for upcoming classes and to sign up for all of our Wednesday
Night Live programming.
Pioneer Clubs is
our ministry for children 4 years old through 2nd grade, with badges, crafts,
lessons, and games. These students need to be checked in by their parents and
then checked out at the end of the program. Our aim is to provide a safe church
and we believe this is an important procedure for this age group.
GEMS and Cadets is our ministry for boys and girls 3rd through 6th grade,
with badges, crafts, lessons and games.
The Rock is our
ministry for boys and girls 7th through 8th grade. Our goal is to facilitate building of
relationships and helping students grow in their love for Jesus.
Schedule
Here is the typical schedule for our Wednesday Night Live activities:
DINNER IS SERVED
5:45 to 6:15 p.m.
Our
hope is that this will make Wednesday night easier for your family. Our
plan for most of the dinners is to use local restaurants (Pizza Plus,
Esmeralda's, Mexican Meat Market, etc.) that make a delicious meal at a
minimal cost. We ask for a suggested donation of $5.00 for these meals –
a donation box will be available each week. Staff does not
supervise the children during this time. Therefore we require that at
least one adult be with the students during the meal until 6:15 p.m. (If
your child is bringing a friend, you may be the accompanying adult. If
you will be bringing a Pioneer Club student, paperwork will need to be
completed by the parent of the child.)
CHECK IN STUDENTS
6:10 – 6:15 p.m.
Please
make sure your child goes to the appropriate room for their program so
they can be checked in. (We ask that you not simply drop your students
off at the curb.) Parents of students in Pioneers Club will be required
to sign that their children have been checked-in. Our aim is to provide
a safe church and we believe this is an important procedure for this
age group.
THE VARIOUS MINISTRY PROGRAMS MEET
6:15 – 8:00 p.m.
For
safety reasons, the doors of the church are locked during this time. If
you need to enter the building or pick up your child during this time,
leaders of each ministry may be contacted on their cell phones.
COMBINED WRAP-UP
7:45 – 8:00 P.M.
Once
a month all Wednesday Night Live students meet in the sanctuary for a
wrap-up time. A fun game is played, students have an opportunity to win a
prize, and any important announcements are made. Parents are especially
welcome to be part of this wrap-up.
PICK UP YOUR CHILDREN
8:00 p.m.
Please be in the social hall or sanctuary by 8:00 p.m. Parents of Pioneer Club students will be required to check-out their children.
